Rhodes is one of the few cities in the world where the medieval and the modern exist side by side in perfect harmony. The newer part of the city impresses with its grand Italian-era architecture, bustling boutique quarters, and the port of Mandraki — instantly recognizable by its famous deer statues standing sentinel at the harbour entrance.
