This journey takes you deep into the heart of Cretan legend and tradition. The route begins on the scenic Lasithi Plateau — a sweeping mountain valley of breathtaking panoramas. Here you will visit the mysterious Diktaion Andron cave, which according to ancient Greek mythology is the birthplace of Zeus, the supreme god of Olympus; from the cave's viewing platform, a stunning view unfolds across the entire valley.

Nearby, a thematic Greek Mythology Park offers a wonderful continuation of the mythological adventure. The next stop is the Convent of Kera Kardiotissa, home to a miraculous 11th-century icon of the Virgin Mary, venerated for its healing powers and cherished by the faithful for centuries. The route then leads to a traditional ceramic workshop, where skilled local craftsmen are happy to demonstrate their art and lead hands-on masterclasses — every visitor is welcome to try their hand at the potter's wheel and create their own piece to take home. The journey concludes with a meal at a traditional Cretan taverna.
